Workshops and Lectures

Group Work

The Growth Group is a vibrant context for identifying personal development needs. Members can help each other identify needs which might otherwise have been blind spots. The group can help the members to explore the roots of the issue as well as developing other ways of being.  All participants experience being members of facilitated groups and begin learning to facilitate groups themselves in that process.

The aim of group work is to develop effective human relationships and communication and leadership skills, by accepting others unconditionally as they are, both inside and outside the group, without prejudice or discrimination, and mutually help each other grow in healthy and constructive relationships.

EQ Bodywork

In Genesis 1 and 2 we read that God made us in God’s image and likeness. The body is a central element of being human: our spiritual, conscious and unconscious self are embodied. This is why we treat embodiment and bodywork as integral to the courses.

Growth Facilitation Skills Workshops

These are experientially based. Tutors introduce a theme and the skills are then practised in small groups. You will bring your own material/issues to the small facilitation practice groups. This is carried out under supervision

All of these personal and group activities will assist you in understanding your process – how and why you function in life the way you do – and the corresponding processes of others.

During your time here you will be given an opportunity to be the leader of a small community under supervision.

Personal Growth Facilitation

You will be assigned a personal growth facilitator who will meet with you privately for a 50 minute session weekly, when you will have the opportunity to share, be encouraged, caringly challenged and gain support on your journey.

All of these personal and group activities will assist you in understanding your process – how and why you function in life the way you do – and the corresponding processes of others.

Lectures

Lectures are interactive, vibrant and challenging. Everything you hear and discuss in the lectures will be explored in the various groups and one-to-one sessions and put into practice in daily living.

Leadership Experience

During your time here you will be given an opportunity to be the leader of a small community under supervision.
